iMyList – Edit Row Values
- When the Edit Row view is displayed, each value in the list row is presented on its own row.
- Tap on each row to go to edit mode for that value. Depending on the data type, a specialised view will be shown to help you edit the value:
- Text and numeric values – an input field and the keyboard is shown. Enter your value on the keyboard and press the Return button when ready. Tap on the Clear button
to clear any existing value.
- Date and Time values – a separate date and/or time edit view will be displayed. Select the year, month, day, hour, and minute parts of the value and tap on the Back button to end editing. Press the Trash button
to clear any existing value.
- Boolean values (checkbox, yes/no, on/off) – tap on the checkbox or switch control to change the value.
- Images – a separate image view will be displayed with the image filling the view. Tap the Photo Library button
on the toolbar to select an existing image from your library on the device. Tap the Camera button
to take a new photo and use it as the image. Tap the Trash button
to clear any existing image value.
- Map locations – a separate map view is displayed with a marker on the selected location and an annotation showing the address and exact GPS coordinates for that location. Tap and hold on a new position on the map to change the location. You can also drag the existing marker to a new location on the map. The new address will be looked up and displayed automatically. Tap the User Location button
to show your current location on the map. Tap the Map, Satellite, and Hybrid buttons to change the view type of the map. Tap the 3D button to change to 3D view. Tap the Trash button
to clear any existing location value.
- Custom Values – a separate list will show all allowed values. Select a value from the list. Tap the (none) entry to clear any existing value. If the New Value entry is shown, you can tap on that to enter a new value. The new value will be added to the list of allowed values for that column.
- Values from other list – a separate list will show all allowed values. Select a value from the list. Tap the (none) entry to clear any existing value.
